The Centre for Emotion Focused Practice offers services for organisations either at the workshop space in Toorak Road, South Yarra or offsite. The workplace programs are underpinned by person-centred, existential and humanistic philosophies, utilising process experiential emotion focused techniques.
Positive and healthy relationships amongst team members provide enhanced resilience, productivity and effectiveness and less absenteeism in the workplace. Workplace programs involving group interventions and processes can greatly enhance the way a team functions leading to each individual’s increased level of awareness, connection, loyalty, productivity and fulfilment as well as the improved morale, engagement and motivation within the team as a whole leading to greater success at all levels for the organisation.

The core system we follow here at the Centre for Emotion Focused Therapy is the PEEFT.
Process-Experiential Emotion Focused Therapy (PEEFT) or more commonly referred to as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) integrates experiential perspectives, cognitive science, existential thought and contemporary emotion theory. It develops emotional intelligence, integrates experience and offers restructuring and transformation.
In other words, this form of therapy helps the practitioner to identify and explore the problem and use that knowledge to transform and incorporate the client’s experiences from an emotional point of view. Processing the emotions along with analyzing them with the help of the therapist allows the individual to work an effective and long term change.
Our centre holds community and private events that range from support group meetings to workshops for professional development and training.
These events help our clients by aiding in their continuous process of emotional development and healing. They can also register for events and workshops online to get a first hand experience on the various treatment modalities offered by our psychology practitioners and therapists.
For practitioners and non-practitioners who want to further their professional development, we have workshops with practical demonstrations, that introduce them and train them in a variety of treatment techniques. Take a look at our events page to know more about these workshops.
